At the end of the year
2001, a portion of the concrete dock at the Docktown Marina broke off and collapsed into
Redwood City Creek. This exposed a portion of the creek bed that has been covered by
the dock. After a month of tidal action the artifact RWC#4CA-aa04 and several other artifacts were exposed in
the sandy mud. This artifact is a jasper knife with a nice head of an open
mouthed warrior.
